Beta terms. These terms are in force for the Filebot beta as of June 25, 2026. Because the product is evolving, we may update them; we will post any change with a new effective date and give notice of material changes, and your continued use after that date means you accept the update.

This policy explains how the Filebot website (operated by Genmod Pty Ltd, ABN 43 690 110 617) uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you control the non-essential ones. It is part of our Privacy Policy. In the EU, EEA, and UK we ask you to opt in before any non-essential cookies are set; elsewhere analytics is on by default and you can opt out.

1. Essential cookies

These are required for the site and the signed-in app to work and cannot be switched off. They include the first-party session cookie that keeps you signed in (it is httpOnly, scoped to our domain, and is not used for tracking) and short-lived security and routing cookies. Because they are strictly necessary, they are not gated by the consent banner.

2. Preferences (local storage)

We keep small preferences in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies: your light/dark theme, dismissed banners, and your cookie choice itself. These never leave your device and are not used to track you.

3. Analytics cookies

We use first-party analytics on this marketing and documentation site to understand how visitors navigate it and which content is useful. When enabled, it sets first-party cookies to recognize a returning browser and measure sessions. It does not sell your data.

In the EU, EEA, and UK, analytics is a non-essential category that stays off until you opt in; elsewhere it is on by default and you can opt out.

Analytics consent applies to this website only. The signed-in Filebot application is an authenticated product (not anonymous web traffic) and uses product analytics as part of providing the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Changing your choice

You can change your cookie choice at any time. Where the consent banner is shown (EU, EEA, and UK), your choice is remembered on this device, and you can also use your browser’s controls to manage or block cookies.
